Entomology is a unique field of biology that combines aspects of other disciplines such as ecology, history, and chemistry in the study of Earth’s most diverse animals: Insects. Entomologists use their knowledge of insects to help maximize beneficial services from insects (e.g. pollination, decomposition) and alleviate pest problems in urban, agricultural, natural, and industrial systems.
Careers in Entomology can literally take you anywhere that insects are, which is everywhere! Even in Antarctica, we can find insects.
